Sabbat Sun Shots

I have been watching the sun rise for years on
the Sabbats but this year, with my digital camera, began taking
pictures of the sunrise on each Sabbat. It has been a very
interesting experience for me. I tried to take the pictures from
two viewpoints. One being directly East (as is at Midsummer) and
the other towards to farthest point South (as at Yule). Due East,
I happily discovered is a Dogwood Tree that is recognizable yet
totally different in each picture. At Beltane it is full of
blossoms, now, six months later it is brilliantly red. The
Southern focal point are my wind chimes. All pictures were taken
in my back yard. Double-click to enlarge.
